Mark Knight is a Grammy-nominated DJ, producer, label owner and businessman coming from the UK. Knight has had releases on many different labels such as Suara, 1605, Stereo, and his own Toolroom. His 2015 “Second Story” was named an Essential New Tune by Radio 1’s Pete Tong and became one of the biggest hits of the summer.
We’d like to share with you Mark Knight’s amazing dancefloor makeover of the piece called “Give You Up” by Dido. This one is an exciting and melodic house track filled with beautiful percussion hits and marimba synths. Knight says, “It really lends itself to electronic music as well as she [Dido] delivers some really epic, powerful vocals, so I just tried to harness that and translate it into something that would work in my sets.” This remix is a treat to hear from start to finish, so give it a listen and enjoy!
