John Askew is one of the biggest electronic music producers and composers in the UK. Together with DJ Simmer, he established the company Shimmy Recordings in 1999. In 2001 he created a remarkable buzz with his debut single “Veluum”. Askew has had his releases on his own label Discover and remixes on such imprints as Duty Free, Ministry of Sound, Euphoric, and Vandit.
