Let’s taste some sound seasoned with indie and psychedelic tones – a drop-dead trio Peter Bjorn and John from Sweden!
The band consists of Peter Morén on vocals, guitar, and harmonica; Björn Yttling on vocals, bass, and keyboards; and John Eriksson on drums, percussion, and vocals. Influenced by the sounds of classic ’60s baroque pop, power pop, and new wave, they created some of the most engaging and original indie rock of the mid-2000s.
“Dominos” is a pizzazz opener on their latest studio album Breakin’ Point released on 10 June, 2016. So, what have we got here? We’re immerged into crazy disco atmosphere with massive synths, uplifting piano chords, and sweet falsetto vocals. We can’t help but sing the memorable lines: “We fall like dominos”.
