Skrillex is an American EDM producer, DJ, singer, songwriter and musician. In 2011, he was nominated for a total of five Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and won three: “Best Dance/Electronica Album”, “Best Dance Recording”, and “Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical”. The same year, he was nominated for the BBC Sound of 2012 poll and named MTV’s Electronic Dance Music Artist of the Year. Skrillex has won a total of eight Grammy Awards and holds the world record for most Grammys won by an Electronic Dance Music artist.
