Stephen, also known as Stephen Swartz, is an American singer-songwriter and music producer. He worked with Pell and Caleborate on the collaborative track, “In the Morning”. He also made a cover for Adele’s song “Hello”. Having dropped a bunch of singles, Stephen released his debut album, Sincerely, on May 10, 2016.
“Crossfire” is one of his best known songs. Stephen’s evocative vocals are backed to sad guitar chords and sobbing synths. With melancholy tones and lyrics referring to social problems and cultural differences, this somber anthem hits you right in the heart making you stop and listen to it to the end: “Can I trust what I'm given? / When faith still needs a gun / Whose ammunition justifies the wrong?”
Elephante, an LA progressive and electro house producer and DJ, puts a futuristic spin on “Crossfire”. With future bass and trap elements, Elephante’s remix brings us some cosmic energy.
